A General ledger account numbers are set up in the following format: 1234-5-678. 1234= main account. 78 for branch identifyers.

A Yes, the system allows for multiple general ledgers as well as multiple general ledger account numbers. This is accomplished through the "multicompany" capabilities with in the system.
Q Once a module has been closed, is it possible to reopen it to make additional entries?
A Yes, through the general ledger journal entry process. It is possible to make journal entries into previously closed months.
Q Does the system allow for recurring journal entries?
A Yes, true the recurring journal entry process. Recurring journal entries may be set up to create journal entries based on number of times per year or on a specific date.
Q Is it possible for the user of the system to determine the type of detail that is kept for each general ledger account?
A Yes, during the account setup process, the user indicates whether detail on a specific account is to be kept or not. In addition, the user may determine the time. For how long detail is to be kept through use of the general ledger special data file.
Q How many general ledger periods may be opened simultaneously?
A The user may have up to two future general ledger months open in addition to the current month.
